The United States Constitution is once again in vogue. Many claim that it may well be the greatest political document ever conceived. I agree, but it is sorely misunderstood by Republicans, Conservatives, Democrats and Liberals alike.

In order to restore our Republic to its Constitutional foundation, we need to understand its roots.This book is intended as a primer to understanding why the Constitution was created, for who, and what it should mean to us today. It is short and concise, much like the Constitution itself.

Rick M. Montes is a New York State Coordinator for the Tenth Amendment Center, a national think tank that works to preserve and protect the principles of strictly limited government through information, education, and activism.
He holds a B.A. in Legal Studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York, College at Purchase and holds his M.A. in History at Western Connecticut State University, Danbury Connecticut.
